The biggest part of my problem throughout the years was my insistance on reverse engineering what has already been created and I find this same problem to be with most of us coders and marketing teams. Poor management decisions that make us focus on spending time to reinvent the wheel when we could be selling it. No matter how you look at it, the sales people are always the ones that make the most money anyhow while everyone else is running a 9 - 5 operation and sometimes more.

The biggest part of my problem was leveraging time working on my customers projects (Money Projects ) with my own projects ( Long Term Money ). There are both money projects, but the bigger the project the longer it takes to pay off.

Oddly enough, for the last 4 years I have been creating Updateable Content Management Systems (CMS websites) one by one utilizing the same application software over and over. I must have rewrote Updateable Website CMS over fifty times from scratch. Which, by the way, you can find in first place in Google for the keywords 'Updateable Website', and various other terms.

Finally it hit me! I decided I would build an enterprize level application so that all my clients could utilize the same application technology in various ways which is what the majority of the world is doing anyhow. I could demonstrate how to best utilize internet software and natural search results and everyone wins!

Sitting here in my deluxe corner office I thinking of how many years it took as a coder to get to this level, and looking back, I think "It would have been so much easy selling what someone else already done, then it is to reinvent the wheel and then have to sell". Its like starting at square one again.

Heres what has taken my over nine years to figure out.
